MONACO, Sept. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eneti Inc. (NYSE:NETI) (the “Company”) announced today that on September 13, 2022 its Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of up to $50.0 million of the Company’s common stock in open market purchases, privately negotiated transactions or otherwise in accordance with applicable U.S. federal securities laws, including sales pursuant to Rule 10b5—1 trading plans and under Rule 10b-18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. This new share repurchase program replaces the Company’s previous share repurchase program that was authorized in January 2019 and that was terminated in conjunction with the authorization of the new share repurchase program. The specific timing and amounts of the repurchases, if any, will be in the sole discretion of management and may vary based on market conditions and other factors, but the Company is not obligated under the terms of the program to repurchase any of its common stock.
