(NYSE: MSM) (the "Company"), a premier distributor of Metalworking and Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) products and services to industrial customers throughout North America, today announced preliminary, unaudited fiscal August 2020 month, fiscal 2020 fourth quarter, and fiscal 2020 full year net sales results. Total net sales for the fiscal month of August (the third month of the Company's fiscal fourth quarter) were $240.3 million, a decrease of 9.7 percent compared to the same period in the prior fiscal year. Net sales for the fiscal 2020 fourth quarter were $747.7 million, a decrease of 12.7 percent compared to the same period in the prior fiscal year. Net sales for the fiscal year ended August 29, 2020 were $3,192.4 million, a decrease of 5.1 percent compared to the prior fiscal year.
