Newsweek names Alliant Energy on its inaugural World’s Most Trustworthy Companies list

Study tracks customer, investor and employee trust
Newsweek and Statista, an independent data research firm, identified the companies on the list through a survey that covered 23 industries in 21 countries. They asked over 70,000 participants around the world to evaluate statements such as, "I trust in this company to treat me fairly as its customer," "I trust that this company is competently led," and "I believe this company treats its employees fairly."

Participants rated companies in terms of three touchpoints: Customer trust, investor trust and employee trust. Newsweek and Statista gathered and analyzed a total of 269,000 evaluations of different companies. For each company that received substantial evaluations, including Alliant Energy, the surveyors conducted social listening analyses, tracking the sentiment toward the companies on several segments of the internet.
