SAN DIEGO, Feb. 28, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: KTOS), a technology company in Defense, National Security and Global Markets, is pleased to congratulate Stuart Daughtridge, Kratos VP of Advanced Technology, on being named a finalist for Via Satellite’s 2023 Satellite Executive of the Year Award. Nominees are chosen based on their contributions to the global satellite markets, technologies, business practices, services, innovations, advocacy or any combination thereof.

Stuart is recognized for his role as Chairman and Director of the Digital Intermediate Frequency Interoperability Consortium (DIFI), an independent group dedicated to supporting interoperability in space communications. Stuart has led DIFI since its creation in 2021, guiding efforts that have already significantly impacted the industry. DIFI’s mission is to enable the digital transformation of space and satellite communications, including the development of an open, interoperable standard for network equipment. DIFI recently released version 1.2 of the DIFI Standard and counts over 60 member organizations, including well-known satellite companies as well as military and government organizations.
