STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Gartner, Inc. (NYSE: IT), today announced that its Board of Directors has elected Chief Executive Officer, Eugene A. Hall, to the additional role of Board Chair, effective July 1, 2024. He succeeds James C. Smith, who has served as Board Chair since 2004, and who will remain on the Board as an independent director. In addition, Karen E. Dykstra, who first joined the Gartner Board in 2007, has been appointed Lead Independent Director, also effective July 1, 2024.
