Upcoming ISG Provider Lens™ reports will study service provider offerings for enabling AI, other workloads on the Google Cloud platform

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study evaluating service providers supporting enterprise use of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for AI and other workloads.

The study results will be published in a series of comprehensive ISG Provider Lens™ reports, called Google Cloud Partner Ecosystem, scheduled to be released in July 2025. The geographically focused reports will cover providers that offer consulting and workload migration services, infrastructure management, generative AI (GenAI) services and productivity and integration services.

Enterprise buyers will be able to use information from the reports to evaluate their current vendor relationships, potential new engagements and available offerings, while ISG advisors use the information to recommend providers to the firm’s buy-side clients.

GenAI is transforming the way businesses interact with their data and the processes they use to build business applications. Google’s introduction of its Gemini chatbot has enabled organizations to optimize and improve these processes with ease, enhancing the power and efficiency of every service in the GCP portfolio.

“Google Cloud is demonstrating its commitment to empowering businesses through cutting-edge technologies like AI while delivering scalable and sustainable solutions,” said Aman Munglani, director and principal analyst, ISG Research. “The improvements made to the GCP platform have solidified Google’s position as a leader in the cloud computing space.”

ISG has distributed surveys to more than 125 Google Cloud service partners. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce five quadrants representing the Google Cloud services the typical enterprise buys based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. The five quadrants are:

  • Google Cloud Professional Services (Consulting and Migration), covering providers offering consulting, migration, implementation and integration services for GCP. Service providers support enterprises in effectively adopting and implementing GCP solutions.
  • Google Cloud Managed Services, assessing providers offering managed cloud services to augment Google’s built-in capabilities, including IaaS and PaaS. These services include orchestration, provisioning, real-time and predictive analytics, and management of public cloud and multicloud environments.
  • Google Cloud Enterprise Data Infrastructure Services, evaluating providers’ portfolio of services for the enterprise data ecosystem. Providers are assessed on their abilities to deliver big data platforms, enable seamless data integration and ensure AI readiness.
  • Google Cloud GenAI and AI Services, covering providers of Google Gemini-based and customized AI/ML solutions. Providers are assessed on their ability to leverage responsible GenAI practices, ensuring ethical and bias-free AI applications.
  • Google Workspace Services, assessing providers offering advisory, migration and integration services for the Google Workspace productivity suite. Workspace continues to grow rapidly, incorporating Google AI to accelerate work, simplify communications and automate tasks.

Geographically focused reports from the study will cover the global Google Cloud partner ecosystem and examine products and services available in Asia Pacific, Brazil, Europe and the U.S. ISG analysts Sonam Chawla (Asia Pacific), Adriana Frantz (Brazil), Mark Purdy (Europe) and Tapati Bandopadhyay (U.S.) will serve as lead authors of the reports.

A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as Google Cloud ecosystem partners can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.

All 2025 ISG Provider Lens™ evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data that measures actual enterprise experience with specific provider services and solutions, based on ISG’s continuous CX research.
