Guidewire has announced its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2024, ending April 30, 2024. The company reported total revenue of $240.7 million, an increase of 16% from the same period last year. Subscription and support revenue rose by 28% to $138.0 million, while license revenue increased by 11% to $56.2 million. Services revenue, however, decreased by 6% to $46.5 million. The company's annual recurring revenue (ARR) reached $828 million.

The GAAP loss from operations was $16.7 million, significantly improved from the $57.8 million loss in the same quarter last year. Non-GAAP income from operations was $20.8 million, compared to a non-GAAP loss of $12.2 million in the previous year. Guidewire's GAAP net loss was $5.5 million, with a loss per share of $0.07. Non-GAAP net income was $21.7 million, translating to $0.26 per share.

The company held $934.2 million in cash, cash equivalents, and investments. Guidewire's outlook for the fourth quarter includes ARR between $856 million and $864 million and total revenue between $279 million and $287 million. For fiscal year 2024, ARR is expected between $856 million and $864 million, with total revenue ranging from $968 million to $976 million.
