First Quarter 2022 Financial Results

$31.4 million as compared to$32.2 million as of December 31, 2021. Operating spending for the first quarter of 2022 was offset by the proceeds from the first tranche of the EIB loan. - Research and Development expenses were
$4.8 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to$3.9 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. The increase was primarily due to an increase in employee-related costs as a result of higher headcount. - General and Administrative expenses were
