Diana Shipping Inc. Announces Direct Continuation of Time Charter Contract for m/v Polymnia and a New Time Charter Contract for m/v Los Angeles
Diana Shipping Inc. (NYSE: DSX) announced the extension of a time charter with CLdN Cobelfret SA for its Post-Panamax dry bulk vessel, m/v Polymnia, at a gross rate of US$10,000 daily for the first 30 days and US$15,000 thereafter, effective January 14, 2023, until at least April 1, 2024. Additionally, a new time charter was signed with Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha for the Newcastlemax vessel, m/v Los Angeles, at a rate of US$17,700 daily, starting January 15, 2023, lasting until at least May 20, 2024. These contracts are expected to generate gross revenues of approximately US$15.02 million during their minimum periods.

Diana Shipping Inc.’s fleet currently consists of 42 dry bulk vessels (4 Newcastlemax, 11 Capesize, 5 Post-Panamax, 6 Kamsarmax, 8 Panamax and 8 Ultramax).
