Corsair Gaming Reports Third Quarter 2020 Financial Results
Corsair Gaming (NASDAQ:CRSR) reported a strong third quarter for 2020, achieving $457.1 million in net revenue, a 60.7% increase year-over-year. The gamer and creator peripherals segment saw a remarkable growth of 128.8%, contributing $161.6 million in revenue, while gaming components and systems delivered $295.5 million with 38.3% growth. Gross profit rose by 112.4% to $127.9 million, enhancing the gross margin to 28.0%. The company anticipates full-year revenue between $1,616 million and $1,631 million.

Third Quarter 2020 Highlights
- Net revenue was
$457.1 million , an increase of60.7% year-over-year. Gamer and creator peripherals segment net revenue was$161.6 million , an increase of128.8% year-over-year. Gaming components and systems segment net revenue was$295.5 million , an increase of38.3% year-over-year. - Gross profit was
$127.9 million , an increase of112.4% year-over-year, with gross margin of28.0% , an improvement of 680 basis points year-over-year. Gamer and creator peripherals segment gross profit was$60.0 million , an increase of200.8% year-over-year. Gaming components and systems segment gross profit was$67.9 million , an increase of68.7% year-over-year. - Operating income was

Financial Outlook
For the full year 2020, we currently expect:
- Net revenue to be in the range of
$1,616 million to$1,631 million . - Adjusted operating income to be in the range of

- In September 2020, we completed our initial public offering (“IPO”) of our stock at a price of
$17.00 per share. We and certain selling stockholders completed the sale of 15.1 million shares, including 1.1 million shares issued pursuant to the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. The IPO raised proceeds net of underwriting fees of approximately$118.6 million for us. - On November 9, 2020, we announced the acquisition of Gamer Sensei, the world’s biggest gaming coaching platform.
- On November 9, 2020, Elgato along with us, the parent company, announced a multi-year partnership with Pipeline, the leading training and mentorship platform for aspiring live streamers.
