Cipia, a leader in intelligent in-cabin sensing solutions, will showcase advanced Infrared (IR) and Radar sensor fusion technology at CES 2025. This innovative integration combines radar and IR sensors to enhance in-cabin monitoring precision and intelligence.
The fusion technology processes data collaboratively to provide comprehensive insights into cabin environment, including driver and passenger status, occupant positioning, and health indicators like heart rate. The system addresses global safety regulations, including Euro NCAP's child presence detection requirements and US NHTSA standards.
The radar-agnostic platform maintains flexibility with various SoCs and IR sensors, enabling OEMs to implement safety features cost-effectively. Cipia will demonstrate this technology at LVCC, West Hall, Booth #5360.
Cipia announced a collaboration with Intel India on Sept. 12, 2022, to integrate driver monitoring features into Intel's fleet safety SaaS solution for Indian commercial vehicle fleets. The Cipia-FS10, a driver monitoring and video telematics system, will utilize AI and computer vision to enhance fleet safety by monitoring driver behavior, including drowsiness and distraction. Initial deployments are underway in leading fleets, aiming to improve road safety and operational efficiency. Both companies are committed to bringing advanced technology to enhance safety for drivers and road users.
