BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Compass Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing proprietary antibody-based therapeutics to treat cancer, today announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering to sell 35,715,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $3.50 per share. All of the shares of common stock are being offered by the Company. In addition, the Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 5,357,250 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting discount. In connection with the offering, the Company also announced that its common stock will begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “CMPX” at the opening of trading on November 2, 2021, following its previously announced approval to list its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market. The gross proceeds to the Company from the public offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses, are expected to be approximately $125.0 million.

The offering is expected to close on November 4, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the public offering, together with its existing cash and cash equivalents, for funding of ongoing operations including clinical trials for the programs noted in the preliminary prospectus supplement, which may change based on clinical and preclinical results.
