LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 09, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Churchill Downs Incorporated (“CDI”) (Nasdaq: CHDN) announced plans to resume operations at Oxford Casino Hotel (“Oxford”) in Oxford, Maine today, July 9, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Guests will be able to enjoy Oxford’s slot machines upon reopening. Table games and food and beverage offerings as well as the hotel and event center will be available at a later date.

Oxford will operate under specific capacity restrictions in compliance with State and local requirements and will implement the “CDI 360 Degree Approach to Safety,” which includes initiatives to facilitate social distancing, personal protection and enhanced cleaning. Some of these protocols include:

  • Increased frequency of cleaning and sanitizing of all high-touch surfaces, including door handles, gaming machines, handrails and kiosks;
  • Plexiglass or polycarbonate dividers in areas of high touch transactions;
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers and sanitary wipes will be located throughout the facility;
  • Visual aids will enable adequate social distancing;
  • Capacity restrictions across all customer and team member areas;
  • Mandatory temperature checks and usage of face masks for all guests and team members upon entering the building;
