Ceridian to Acquire Singapore-based Excelity Global

This strategic move is expected to close in Q2 2020 and aligns with Ceridian's expansion efforts in the region. Excelity, operating since 1997, serves over 300 customers across Asia and delivers 1.2 million payslips monthly utilizing a proprietary payroll platform. Stephen Moore will lead Ceridian's new Asia-Pacific Japan region post-acquisition, aiming to leverage the Dayforce platform to enhance service delivery for regional clients.

MINNEAPOLIS and TORONTO and SINGAPORE, May 06, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ceridian (NYSE: CDAY; TSX: CDAY), a global leader in human capital management (HCM) technology, today announced it has entered into a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire Excelity Global Solutions Pte Ltd. (Excelity), an Asia-based HCM service provider from the Everstone Group. The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of 2020.

In this expanded role, Moore will have responsibility for Ceridian’s new Asia Pacific Japan region, including the Excelity team. Moore, who has more than 30 years of experience leading customer operations in APJ, will help Ceridian enhance its world-class service to our customers globally.
