Barclays has announced two strategic appointments to its Americas Financial Sponsors Group, hiring Isobel van Daesdonk and Scott Willard as Managing Directors based in New York. Both will report to Christian Oberle, Head of the Americas Financial Sponsors Group.
Van Daesdonk brings 25 years of investment banking experience, joining from Guggenheim Securities where she was Senior Managing Director. She previously spent 20 years at Deutsche Bank, maintaining strong relationships with clients including Bain, Roark, and New Mountain Capital.

Ms. van Daesdonk is a seasoned Investment Banker with 25 years of experience. She joins Barclays from Guggenheim Securities, where she was a Senior Managing Director in Financial Sponsors Investment Banking. Prior to this Ms. van Daesdonk spent 20 years at Deutsche Bank in
Mr. Willard has over 20 years of experience in Investment Banking. He has served the Private Equity and Alternative Asset Manager client base in Advisory, Capital Markets and Leveraged Finance roles at Deutsche Bank, UBS, and most recently Nomura Securities. Mr. Willard brings to Barclays deep relationships that he has developed over the course of his career with CD&R, CVC, KKR, and other top Financial Sponsor clients.
