Robert Burton, current president of West Virginia American Water, will become president of Kentucky American Water, replacing Kathryn Nash who retires on March 1, 2025. Scott Wyman will join as president of West Virginia American Water effective January 27, 2025.
Burton brings over 27 years of utility management experience and currently oversees services to approximately 600,000 people across 365 West Virginia communities. His previous roles include senior director of operations for Pennsylvania American Water and management positions in the Military Services Group.
Wyman joins with 30+ years of utility sector experience, most recently serving as president of FirstEnergy's Pennsylvania operations. He holds an MBA from Gannon University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Geneva College, and is a certified professional engineer in Pennsylvania.
