(NASDAQ:ATXS), a biopharmaceutical company developing STAR-0215 for hereditary angioedema and focused on life-changing therapies for rare and niche allergic and immunological diseases, today announced that it has named Chris Morabito, M.D., as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Morabito brings more than 20 years of clinical development experience in rare diseases and other indications to Astria.

Dr Morabito trained at Stanford University and the University of California, San Francisco after receiving his M.D. from Penn State University College of Medicine.
