Aramark (NYSE:ARMK) has been awarded the 2025 Ed Tech Product Award in the Large Company Campus Equipment and Technology category for its AIWX Connect platform. The intelligent IoT-based technology platform monitors building and occupant needs through real-time data collection on occupancy, space utilization, equipment condition, and occupant feedback.
The AIWX Connect platform provides educational administrators with remote monitoring capabilities and real-time insights into critical operations. Key features include leak detection, refrigeration monitoring, exterior door monitoring, HVAC equipment failure prediction through vibration sensors, and vaping/smoking detection throughout buildings. The system consolidates all data in a single location for efficient monitoring and access.
The award was presented at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) at the Orlando Convention Center in January, where finalists were selected from hundreds of submissions across various categories.
