(“AnPac Bio,” the “Company” or “we”) (NASDAQ: ANPC), a biotechnology company with operations in China and the United States announced today that the Company has been validating the approved COVID-19 antibody test, which has received the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization, for commercial use in its San Jose, California lab since the second quarter of 2020, with expected validation completion in the second half of 2020.
As COVID-19 cases are still on the rise and no clear short-term containment in sight, COVID-19 tests will likely have both long-term and widespread demand. As such, the Company is fully committed to validating the aforementioned approved COVID-19 antibody test.
