RALEIGH, N.C. and ORANGE, Calif., Oct. 25, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alignment Healthcare, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALHC) today announced that its North Carolina plan has been named a 2024 Best Insurance Company for Medicare Advantage (MA) in the state by U.S. News & World Report for the second consecutive year. Alignment Health Plan is one of only three MA plans in North Carolina to earn the U.S. News “Best” rankings badge.
This recognition comes on the heels of Alignment’s North Carolina HMO achieving an overall 4.5- out of 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for 2024. Every year, Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating, which represents excellent performance.
