Adtran’s optical transport technology drives OIF’s 100G to 800G ZR interoperability demo at OFC 2025
Adtran is set to showcase its FSP 3000 open line system (OLS) and coherent 100ZR+ QSFP28 transceiver at the Optical Internetworking Forum's (OIF) interoperability demonstration at OFC 2025. The demonstration, featuring 35 member companies, will highlight multi-vendor, multi-rate transport capabilities with coherent pluggable optics operating at 100Gbit/s, 400Gbit/s, and 800Gbit/s over an open, multi-span network.
The FSP 3000 OLS will transport these coherent signals across a 300km multi-span link, utilizing high-resolution flexgrid and colorless ROADMs with bidirectional inline amplifiers.
