Evertec (NYSE: EVTC) announced over 160 scholarships awarded through its Scholarship Program, totaling more than $185,000. Following an alliance focused on encouraging women in STEM, female applications surged by 50%, achieving a gender ratio of 1:1 among applicants. The program has disbursed 529 scholarships worth over $685,000 since its inception. Awardees, accepted in accredited colleges, will receive $1,000 and may join the Evertec Internship Program.
